If you find an item elsewhere (within 30 days of your purchase from us) at a lower price, you will be eligible for our "100% Price Protection" with an extra 10% refund in your pocket.
Here`s how it works:
The item must be the identical product, color, grade, size, packaging, etc. The price you wish us to match must be verifiable on the Internet or through a printed advertisement. The competitor`s advertisement must be current and the product must be in stock.
If you ask us to match a price, our competitor`s shipping and handling charges and sales tax, if applicable, must be taken into account when we calculate the competitor`s price.
Price adjustments are limited to one price match per item within the 30-day period. Competitor`s coupons or promotions for first time or one-time use will be considered non-verifiable and therefore not accepted for the low price guarantee. Competitive items must be in stock at the same time.
Shipments to California are subject to 8% sales tax and will not be included as part of the price match calculation. NOTE: Please allow 7-10 business days following your price match request for your refund to be processed. Price matches will not be honored on "Going out of business," "Liquidation Sales" or companies in distress.
Cathaygems.com reserves the right to deny any price match on an item that is not in stock with a competitor or does not meet the criteria of our price match policy.
2. 90-day Complete Customer Satisfaction Guarantee
We pride ourselves in carrying high quality products and hope that you will be pleased with your order. Nevertheless, there will be instances when damage occurs during the transportation or colors don`t meet your expectations, in which case, please call (619) 405-2879 or email us right away, we will take care of it.
For 90 days from your purchase, we guarantee your satisfaction by having a "no questions asked" time period. If you need to return something, please send an email to support@cathaygems.com within 7 days of receiving your order for an authorization code. We will accept authorized returns within 90 days as long as the items are in their original condition - without any wearing and tearing, and in its original packaging.
As soon as your package is received, we will refund the amount that you paid for the products completely, minus any shipping cost, which we had paid for. For all products in our store, there will be no restocking fee, no questions asked. To ensure a timely refund, in your returning package, please make sure to provide us with either your invoice number or your name on the credit card that was charged, we will refund you the money within 5 days after we receive your package.
If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or misrepresented item, etc.), we`ll pay for the shipping costs. If your return is not the result of our error, the shipping cost of that returned item will be deducted from your refund. The amount deducted will be equivalent to our flat rate shipping method for that item.
For special custom ordered items, there will be a 15% restocking fee. However, we would rather not have to charge you the fee, instead we would rather to have your complete satisfaction, which is the reason why it also comes with a 6-month free warranty.
3. All Custom Order Work Includes a Six-month Free Warranty
A six-month free warranty ensures your peace-of-mind ownership. All of the following items are covered:
1) Any repair work, no matter who caused the damage is covered. Just send it back and we will repair it for you at no extra cost. All you will have to pay is the shipping cost involved.
2) Any resizing or restringing work. Only the cost of extra pearls will be applied if you would like to upgrade from 6-7mm to 9-10mm, or if you changed the necklace from a 16in long to 20in long.
3) Any clasp changes. If you find a pretty diamond clasp, and would like to change your necklace`s clasp, or if you change it from a single row to multi-strands.
Whatever you would like to do, we will do it for you without any additional cost, except for the pearls and shipping expenses involved. Please make sure to email us before you send out so that we know exactly what you would like us to do.
