Finished artificial jewelry is in great demand nowadays because of their artistic beauty, longevity and low cost. These jewelry pieces are also very easy and convenient to carry along your journeys; whether you are going out for a vacation or a weekend marriage ceremony out of your town.
In this article we will see how to make a bracelet of beads at home. The first step in making a beaded bracelet is determining the length of the bracelet that you want to make. After determining its length, divide this length into two equal halves, add 3” to that length and then cut 2 pieces of wire according to that length.
Now start stringing agate beads, tiger’s eye beads, turquoise beads, jade beads or crystal beads. These can be any or a combination of two or three types of beads depending on your choice. String a 3mm bead, a crimp bead, a 3mm bead and then a flat-shaped bead into the wire. Go backwards again passing through all the three beads. The wire should be kept a bit loose around the flat bead. Bend the crimp bead and repeat the same on the opposite side of the flat bead.
Then take a tear-drop shaped bead by pointing its end at the center and string it with the 3mm beads, delicas and teardrop shaped bead alternately on the either side of the flat bead. Complete this and put it on your hands to check its exact fitting. You can add or remove the beads accordingly. Then seal one end and on the other end you need to string a bead, a crimp bead, a bead and half the clasp. Take your needle backwards again through thins chain of beads to tighten the wire. Seal this end and then trim out the excess wire form both the ends
