Coin pearls are considered to be freshwater pearls. Just as the name suggests, the coin pearls are shaped like coins. They have a flat, disc-like appearance, as well as a circular shape with rounded edges. You can use these pearls to make bracelet charms, great pendants, dazzling finger rings, and drop earrings. They are available in a variety of different colors, but they are frequently found in classic shades of white.

The pearl farmers harvest the best quality coin pearls that are uniform in shape. They have an exceptional polish as well as luster. Let’s look at the different strands of the coin pearls.

Heart shaped coin pearls – these pearls are heart-shaped and are highly lustrous and unique. They are available only in white colors and are used to make a number of different types of jewelry such as dangling earrings, pendants, necklaces, and bracelets. Use these to make a special Valentine’s Day or anniversary gift for you or someone special.

Length drilled diamond shaped coin pearls- these pearls have a very high luster and are white colored. A strand of pearls is 15.5” in length.

Tear drop shaped coin pearls – these pearls have a beautiful overtone with a very high luster. They are available in black and white colors. These pearls are considerably rare, therefore they are also more expensive.

Square coin pearls – these coin pearls are square in shape and available only in creamy white colors. You will find some irregularities in these pearls because they are made in nature. These pearls are also very large in size ranging from 12.5 to 13mm. Their size makes them rare and difficult to find which makes them more expensive.
