1. Decide how long you want your pearl necklace to be. Measure a length of the thread with a ruler or tape measure, and multiply the length that you need by four. You will need the extra length to make sure you have enough for tying your knots. If your necklace will be long enough to fit over your head, you won’t need to use a clasp . 2. Make a simple knot about 2 or 3 inches from one end of the string, and thread a beading needle on to the other end. Feed your first two pearls on the needle and slide them down to the first knot. Stick your pair of needle nose tweezers through the loop, and grip the cord right next to the first pearl. 3. Repeat Step 2 until your necklace is the length you want. Finish the necklace by tying the two ends together with a tight double or triple knot, or tie the ends to each side of a clasp if your necklace is shorter in length.
