Our standard policy is to accept most returns within 90 days from the date of delivery. You may choose to return to our USA office in San Diego, California or to our manufacturer. We would not mind making it longer because that is how confident we are with our products, but our merchant account wants to limit their exposure to only 90 days.
90 days should will give most of our customers all over the world enough time to check, to give as a gift, for exchange or return for their complete satisfaction, even if you use the airmail shipping method option at $8.97 for international customers, and $4.99 for USA customers.
All Cathaygems products come directly from manufacturer to avoid the middlemen's cost and to $ave you money. In this way, we can use the most recently harvested pearls and make each order individually to your specification. Click on the picture of the product that you are interested, it will take you to the product page you will see more pictures with different colored pearls, choose your preferred "Color / Size" from the drop down menu by clicking on the arrow button on the right side, and enter the quantity that you need.
2. Use the "Add to Shopping Cart" button to add items you like to your cart. You can also view your cart with the button on the top right corner of the web page. Volume Discount is available directly on line. Our computer system calculates your order and get you the discount with the following formula.

3. After you get everything in your shopping cart, you can choose to either "Shop as a member here or "Proceed directly to Checkout".("Shop as a member" only means a registered member, it is the same as shop as a guest, as long as you sign up to receive our special promotional offer, at the lower left of the page, you will be able to get our promotional offers as a club member.)
If you choose to "Shop as a Member", you will either Register or Log in on our secured server. By using your email address as your user ID, you can:
- retrieve your forgotten password at any time.
- review your order history for all the items that you had purchased before.
- make your own wish list for the items you would like to have. Just select the "Add to Wish List" button, you will be able to see the wish list the next time when you log in.
- If you are having troubles to register, you can always shop as a guest as you will receive a receipt for every order that you placed as your reference later on.
If you choose to "Proceed directly to Checkout", you can
- get the shopping done in a hurry
- none of your user information will be kept in our record.
- However you will loose the order list in your shopping cart. If you can't complete the order and have to come back later, you will have to start over again.
4. Fill out Billing and shipping information, and select a flat rate shipping method with Low shipping rates based on your time line.
Please note if your billing and shipping information is different, our advanced technology on our secured server will put your transaction on hold for review. In that case, we will have to verify the information by checking your ip address and might even call you or your card company to verify the information for the sake of protecting our customers interest first. That might prolong the processing time. So if your order is time sensitive or a gifting item, please give us a call or leave us the most accessible phone number to speed up the verification process.
When choose shipping method, the most important thing to consider will be your time line. 5. Choose any one of the three convenient ways to make your payment when you are checking out

8. Send us your feedback after your package is received. Shipping: From Cathaygems to Your Doorstep
Most orders will be shipped within 24-48 hours after we receive them, excluding holidays and weekends. Even then we will start processing them on the very next business day. Only on rare occasions, might we temporarily run out of a particular item due to shipping company delay, or unforeseen instances. In those instances, we will have to wait for the next shipment ( up to a week or so ) to send your order. And a free gift of pearl jewelry will be included for this inconvenience.

1. First Class shipping, which will take up to 2 weeks without insurance and tracking: $4.99. Please note: insurance is not included. If you choose to use First Class, we cannot take responsibility for the loss of goods in shipment, although we do provide you with an email proof of shipping.
2. Priority Mail shipping, USPS Priority Mail Service, which takes 5-10days for delivery, that is after the package is shipped out. To ensure secure and timely delivery, we are recommending you to use priority mail.
3. If you use Express Mail, which will be delivered in 3-5 days to most areas, the price will be $24.95 for any weight of parcel. Express Mail includes insurance and tracking. (Highly recommended if you have a time line and need your package in a hurry.

1. Worldwide Airmail Shipping (7- 15 days delivery) depending upon your country's location and how fast packages are processed by your local post office. Without insurance and tracking: $8.97.
